What started as a joke, the MMTW (Meat, Micarta, Trucks, and Whiskey) variant of Landers has grown into one of our favorite collabs. It fuses everything we love--micarta, topo, rustic aesthetics--into a single design. But MMTW has never felt more right than it does as a fixed blade.

The Lander 4 is exactly that--all of the things that make the Lander great, packed into a fixed blade instead of a folder. In true Taylor fashion, it comes with a brass bead on a leather lanyard, tied off with a snake knot. It also comes with a kydex sheath and a belt loop.

Sold in USA only.

    Knafs and Schtuff

Ben Petersen—known by many as Ben Banters—is a knife designer, co-founder of Knafs, and the friendly face behind “What iiiiiis up guys” from Blade HQ’s Knife Banter. With 12 years in the gear world, he and his wife Athena started Knafs in 2018 and went full-time in 2022. Now they're not just making knives, they're making all sorts of "schtuff

    Where It Started

It all began with the Lander 1—an approachable design that was more than just budget-friendly. With its Fast Swap Scales, it was built to be customized without a full teardown. Knafs even provides 3D files so you can print or make your own scales, making it one of the most mod-friendly knives around. And it somehow survived our brutal torture test.

    MEAT, Micarta, Trucks, and Whiskey

The ingenuity and cleverness of Ben Petersen knows no bounds. On a whim and a joke, one of our favorite collaborations to date was born, the MMTW Landers.
